Benefits of InBrace
InBrace treats all type of malocclusions from simple to complex cases, InBrace straightens teeth without embarrassing wires or inconvenient aligners.
You’ll start seeing results as soon as two weeks. Get ready to love looking in the mirror – or any reflective surface for that matter (we won’t judge!).
Autopilot = More You Time
Your Smartwire starts moving your teeth gently into place from day one – like autopilot. So you can do more life stuff and less treatment stuff.
With no messy trays to remove or brackets to worry about before you indulge, you can eat whatever you want with no restrictions.
Start your day with a big ‘ol cup of joe or your favorite tea. With nothing to remove, your treatment continues working while you drink.
InBrace is highly effective for individuals with moderate to severe cases of tooth misalignment and bite problems. It’s also a great choice for anyone who wants to enhance their smile but doesn’t want to draw attention to themselves by wearing metal braces. Visiting our office and speaking with Dr. Meagan is the best approach to find out if you are a good candidate for InBrace. She can examine your teeth and take x-rays to see if InBrace is the best option for you. Get in touch with us today to set up your free initial consultation.
InBrace is an innovative alternative to traditional braces for straightening teeth. InBrace uses innovative Gentleforce technology to automatically shift the teeth into place, eliminating the need for regular modifications like those required for conventional braces. In addition, because the appliance is hidden between the teeth, you can start noticing a difference in your smile before the appliance is removed.
The goal in creating InBrace was to make it as subtle as possible. Since it will be hidden from view behind your teeth, you shouldn’t notice any difference in how you talk. Your speech should improve as you become used to wearing the appliance. But if you do experience any changes in your speech after starting InBrace treatment, and they do not resolve soon, please let us know so that we can help.
As teeth move, your sensitivity to hot and cold foods may increase. Paying attention to your diet may minimize discomfort, and watching what you eat throughout the course of your treatment will improve your overall experience.
- Begin with soft foods until teeth tenderness has passed, then gradually incorporate more solid foods.
- Peel fruit before eating, as this will prevent peels from sticking in your teeth or in your braces.
- Avoid hard, sticky, and chewy foods, like nuts, popcorn, pizza crust, granola bars, baguettes, hard caramel, toffee, beef jerky, and similar foods.
- Chewing gum is not recommended unless it is sugar-free.
Just as with traditional braces, you will feel some discomfort as your teeth begin to move and as you become accustomed to braces! Any discomfort you feel is temporary and normal. Things will get better quickly!
- Drink plenty of water to prevent dry mouth.
- Take over-the-counter pain medication for relief.
- Place orthodontic wax on any section that causes irritation to make them feel smoother until your mouth adapts.
When your orthodontic treatment is complete, you should start using a retainer to keep your teeth in their new positions. Retainers aid in keeping teeth in their new placements, allowing you to preserve your beautiful new smile for years to come. If you’re looking for a retainer in Atlanta or Snellville, GA, our office can assist you in deciding which type is ideal for you.
